More about this item

SubG. The next level of subglottic suctioning.

The American Thoracic Society (ATS) and APIC recommend subglottic suctioning for reducing the risk of early onset VAE.1 Medline makes this easier with the SubG subglottic suction ET tube. The Sub G’s barrel-shaped, polyurethane cuff helps to minimize the potential for subglottic secretions to advance below the cuff, while the inline suction port aids in the removal of these secretions.

Advantages of the SubG ET Tube

A. Subglottic suction line and evacuation port for removal of pooled secretions above the cuff
B. Barrel-shaped cuff made of polyurethane to aid in the reduction of microaspirations
C. Thermosensitive material, a bullnose tip, and easy to read marking for ease in insertion

Medline also offers a full family of supplemental products which used in conjunction with the SubG, can help to raise you to the next level of subglottic suctioning.
