More about this item

Reposition Patients Safely and Easily.

Healthcare workers experience some of the highest rates of occupational injuries of any industry— exceeding even construction and manufacturing.1

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends minimizing or eliminating (if feasible) manual lifting of patients to reduce work-related injuries and associated worker’s compensation costs. 2

How to use Med-Glide in 3 steps.

Step 1

Place smooth blue surface face down on the bed.

Step 2

Have the patient lie on the white surface. Centrally position patient so Med-Glide begins underneath the neck and ends underneath the buttocks.

Step 3

Have patient bend knees and place feet on bed. Two caregivers on each side of bed untuck side and slide the patient to the desired position.
