Thermometers are filled with the nontoxic, nonhazardous, biodegradable liquid EnviroKleen, which is black against yellow back glass for ease of readability
They offer 1°C accuracy or better as certified by ChemTel, an independent laboratory, which shows they have the same accuracy as similar mercury types, but without the hazards
Fluoropolymer coating helps prevent breakage and keeps liquids and glass contained in the event of breakage
Supplied with a multilanguage (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) statement of accuracy traceable to NIST and DAkkS and individual serial number
Tested and calibrated in Bel-Art's triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and DAkkS
