Global medical supplies distributor awarded a $90 million prime vendor deal for its strategic leadership, breadth of 350,000 products, and personalized customer service

Medline, a global medical supplies distributor and manufacturer, has inked a new $90 million prime vendor agreement with Virginia Hospital Center, a 350-bed tertiary care facility that has been providing medical services to the Washington, DC metropolitan area for more than 70 years.
Through this five-year agreement, Medline will provide Virginia Hospital Center with an extensive portfolio of essential medical supplies and solutions that will better position the system to reduce costs, improve productivity and enhance quality of patient care.

By utilizing Medline’s online reporting tool called Medline INSIGHT, Virginia Hospital Center will have the ability to easily monitor key metrics such as item utilization, contract compliance, price accuracy and spend by product categories.
