TexCap is a comprehensive linen supply management program that guarantees to reduce costs on textile product, utilization and distribution expenses. TexCap starts by establishing benchmarks on linen mix, usage patterns, product acquisition and processing costs. Those costs are then lowered, usually 5% to 10%, and capped for the life of the agreement. The guarantee is based on capping the total linen processing and replacement costs per adjusted patient day.
