Connie Yuska began her career as a nurse in the specialty of otorhinolaryngology. Her clinical experience includes both inpatient and outpatient care of the head and neck oncology patient. She has held Clinical Manager and Director of Nursing positions in a large academic medical center. Connie also has experience in the home care setting as the Vice President of Operations for a large academically affiliated home care agency in the Chicagoland area.
In 2001, Connie joined the executive suite as the Chief Nursing Officer of a large community hospital in Chicago. In all of her leadership roles, she has been responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and cost-effective nursing care. Most recently, she has been a consultant for Joint Commission Resources in the Quality and Patient Safety Solutions division.
Connie is certified in the specialty of otorhinolaryngology and head-neck nursing and is published in oncology textbooks and journals.
Connie is a 2003 graduate of the J&J/Wharton Nurse Executive Program. She is member of the Board of the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders and is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives. In 2005, she was inducted into the 100 Wise Women Program sponsored by Deloitte & Touche.
Connie joined Medline in September, 2009 as Vice President, Clinical Services.

Alecia Cooper began her professional career as a registered nurse in 1980. With clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, critical care nursing, and the operating room, Alecia has held the position of Administrative Director Surgical Services in various acute care facilities for more than twelve years prior to joining Medline Industries Inc. In addition to being licensed as a registered nurse, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Organizational Management, an MBA in Healthcare Administration and is certified in Organizational Management and Operating Room Nursing. In December 2001, Cooper left hospital departmental administration to join Medline as Clinical Director/Clinical Nurse Specialist for its National Accounts division. In June 2004 she was promoted to Vice President, Clinical Services at Medline. In this position, her responsibilities include clinical direction, clinical consultation, and clinical quality review, as well as education and training, for Medline both internally and externally for employees and its customers.
In 2006, Cooper, retaining her Vice President, Clinical Services role, joined Medline’s Marketing department to become the clinical editor for Medline’s The OR Connection magazine, Infection Prevention Now magazine, as well as managing editor for Healthy Skin magazine. Other responsibilities include development of educational content for Medline University and other internal and external publications and public forums, development of solutions based programs and services to support Medline’s quality products and sales initiatives. Cooper is also the liaison to Medline’s Perioperative and Infection Prevention Advisory Boards and to APIC, representing Medline as a strategic partner.
