On August 22-23, 2011 Medline brought together U.S. hospital and long-term care leaders for its fourth annual Prevention Above All conference to discuss improving the quality of patient care with innovative approaches to enhancing patient safety and reducing medical errors. More than 250 senior clinical and quality leaders from throughout the country attended the two-day forum held in Chicago. A select group of healthcare policy experts and professionals provided guidance and knowledge on patient safety strategies and a novel portfolio of targeted interventions that translate research findings into practical, evidence-based solutions to improve outcomes.
