1000-perioperative-nurses-strong at this “invitation-only” breakfast, we were certainly “in the pink”! Rue McClanahan was hilarious. We were also inspired by the great work being done for women all over the country by the National Breast Cancer Foundation and its president Janelle Hail.

We have partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) because its mission is to help provide mammograms for underserved women. In 2006, we provided NBCF $100,000 to be given to hospitals and healthcare centers to provide free mammograms. We will provide another $100,000 for the same reason this year.
